Who loves the other more? Mikel or Kylie? Kylie or Mikel? If they love each other, will they leave one another? In any case its six of one, half a dozen of the other. They”re kitsch, they”re kinky and they”re coming to a town near you… KYLIE AND MIKEL is an improvised performance by Kylie Walters and Mikel Aristegui with live music by Andres Garcia and Roberto Grassi from the group Imericani. In five acts, each taking place in a different location in the city, from bar to market place, public swimming pool to the town square, Kylie and Mikel fall in love, have sex, get married, kill one another, are reincarnated and fall in love all over again before jumping in the lake. Each act is based on famous love couples, Bonnie and Clyde, Romeo and Juliette, Tarzan and Jane, The Spice Girls and the Back Street Boys or John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John from the film Grease. KYLIE AND MIKEL was performed in Geneva at various locations and in Nyon for the FAR summer festival as well as on a Swiss sightseeing boat on Lake Leman. The performance and ensuing film LIEBESBAHN, part of the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz”s, Choreographenwerkstatt 02 was filmed in Berlin”s S-Bahn system and based on the original performances of KYLIE AND MIKEL. The film/performance involved 7 performers, each vying for love in the S-Bahn. The public hopped on and off trains in a mad-cap chase after their favourite couples, following their trials and tribulations from station to station, on the platforms and in the moving trains themselves.

Chaque acte est basé sur les couples célèbres, Bonnie and Clyde, Roméo et Juliette, Tarzan et Jane, les Spices Girls et les Back Street boys ou John Travolta et Olivia Newton-John du film Grease. KYLIE ET MIKEL a été joué à Genève dans divers lieux et à Nyon pour le FAR Festival d”été ainsi qu”à bord d”un bateau touristique Suisse sur le lac Léman. La performance et le film qui s”ensuit, présentés au Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz”s, Choreographenwerkstatt 02, ont étés filmés dans le métro berlinois et basé sur les performances originales de KYLIE ET MIKEL. Le public sautait d”un train à l”autre dans une course folle après leur couple favori, suivant leurs épopées et tribulations de station en station, sur les plateformes et dans les trains en mouvement.
